Carla Adams at The Art Gallery of Western Australia
sorry I was/am too much is an exhibition curated by Robert Cook that pairs the work of Western Australian artist Carla Adams with one of Australia’s foremost modernist artists, Albert Tucker.
Carla Adams’s paintings, textiles, ceramics and mixed-media objects, drawings and visual diaries that reflect her experiences in the contemporary dating world are presented. These are shown alongside a selection of Albert Tucker’s drawings and paintings from the Gallery’s Collection, produced between 1943 and 1989.
The exhibition is on at Art Gallery of Western Australia until 15 March 2021
